Overview In this frontend role within ENGIE’s Supply & Energy Management, you build and advance the green power and BESS flexibility business in Italy. You will develop PPA-based opportunities, tolling and hybrid solutions, and support risk-informed commercial growth with cross-functional teams. You’ll work on structuring deals, onboarding clients, and aligning with trading, risk, and legal stakeholders. This position offers impact in decarbonization and scalable energy solutions in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
Responsabilità
Develop green power PPAs from onboarding to signature, including governance prep and client relationships (Italian market) Collaborate with Downstream sales to structure and draft downstream PPA offers Develop BESS tolling/flex opportunities with third-party developers, from onboarding to deal signature Create hybrid PV/Wind/BESS PPA solutions targeting 24/7 reliability for mature clients and data centers Identify and implement risk management solutions to grow S&EM;’s renewables and BESS portfolio in Italy Understand pricing methodologies and contribute to model development with the power portfolio and pricing teams Monitor Italian market and regulatory changes affecting green power and flexibility business Provide technical market knowledge and cross-functional coordination to implement contracts efficiently Operate in a front-office, trading-floor environment, coordinating with traders, quants, risk, legal, and origination teams
Requisiti fondamentali
10+ years in the energy market with origination experience Proven track record in Italian green power and structured green PPA deals Master degree in quantitative discipline (engineering, economics, finance) Strong knowledge of the Italian power system, markets, and regulatory context Familiarity with pricing models, risk metrics, and energy contracts (PPA, Tolling) Commercial and negotiation capabilities Strong analytical skills and a hands-on, multi-workflow management approach Reliability, rigor, and attention to detail Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with diverse profiles (portfolio managers, legal, analysts, sales, risks) Fluent in English and Italian Commercial acumen Negotiation prowess Team player and cross-functional collaborator Pricing models and risk metrics Physical and financial energy products and contracts (PPA, Tolling) Knowledge of master agreements related to energy deals
