PositionThe LG Industrialization Specialist will be part of Givenchy Leather Goods Department in Florence, reporting to the Industrialization Coordinator, working closely with other internal teams and external suppliers.Job ResponsabilitiesMain responsibilities:Follow the industrialization phases of leather goods products MEN and WOMEN;Follow-up, validation and archiving of the Masters;Supervise the industrialization process, ensuring technical feasibility at external suppliers;Daily technical support at suppliers during the pre-industrialization phase and during the Master production phase;Reading an updating PLM, used for follow-up industrialization projects;Work closely with the pattern-making, prototyping and development departments starting from prototyping and sampling to provide technical support;Collaborate with Quality and Production during Master validation;ProfileProfileHigh School diploma / bachelor’s degreePrevious experience as a prototyperTechnical knowledge about industrialization phases and about leather goodsKnowledge of CAD, model consultation and readingAdded value if familiar with time and methodsWorking proficiency in English (French knowledge is a plus)Knowledge of PLM is a plusProblem solving & Analytical skillsCollaboration and teamwork aptitudeGood knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)At least 8+ years of experience in similar roles in the Luxury Leather GoodsAdditional InformationOUR ENGAGEMENT / WHAT WE OFFERWe believe in our talents and are committed to supporting and developing them throughout their careers. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.This role also provides for participation in a premio scheme, at Givenchy’s discretion, based on factors such as individual and/or company performance.In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Industria Tessile Abbigliamento), as applied by Givenchy in Italy.
