OverviewAs Principal Power Systems Architect, you will own the end-to-end electrical design of hyperscale data centers, from HV grid connection to rack power, acting as the technical authority.
You will challenge existing electrification approaches and make defensible design decisions under uncertainty, collaborating with utilities, EPCs, and vendors.
You'll drive coherent multi-domain architectures, sign off on major studies, and mentor a specialist team across five domains.
This role combines advanced power systems with data center infrastructure to enable scalable, reliable AI data centers.

ResponsabilitàOwn the overall electrical architecture for large-scale AI data centers from HV grid to rack power
Define study scope and direct work across five specialist domains: steady-state planning, dynamic studies, insulation coordination, protection/RAMS, and MV/LV design
Lead grid connection strategy including TSO engagement, grid code compliance, and HV connections above 100 MW
Sign off on major study deliverables and design work
Drive system-level equipment specification (HV/MV transformers, reactive compensation,
BESS, power electronics, UPS)
Interface with TSOs, DSOs, grid codes, EPCs, independent engineers, and OEMs
Identify and manage technical risk across the full project lifecycle and across electrical, civil, cooling, and IT interfaces
Mentor and develop the specialist engineering team across all five domains
Requisiti fondamentaliM.Sc.
in Electrical Engineering with focus on power systems
Minimum 15 years of relevant industrial experience across at least three of the five domains
Experience with HV grid connections in an IEC regulatory context and direct TSO engagement
Familiarity with IEC standards ******, *****, *****, *****, *****)
Hands-on experience with at least two major RMS/EMT simulation platforms (PowerFactory, PSS/E, PS-CAD)
Experience with DCS/SCADA integration and plant-level energy management (IEC *****, ***********)
Fluent in English; additional regional language advantageous
