Overview In this role you will oversee and coordinate all structural and architectural construction activities at site, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project specs. You will supervise fabrication and erection of steel components and architectural finishes, coordinating with other discipline supervisors. You will ensure drawings alignment and adherence to standards, monitor installation, and manage lifting and assembly of large modules.
You will participate in daily coordination, report progress to the Construction Manager, and support punch lists and quality checks. This position contributes to Hill’s client-focused delivery on major projects worldwide.
Responsabilità
- Supervise fabrication and erection of structural steel components (decks, trusses, platforms, supports)
- Ensure alignment, welding, and bolting per drawings and standards (AISC, AWS D1.1, API RP2A)
- Monitor installation of load-bearing structures and support systems
- Coordinate lifting, fit-up, and assembly of large modules/skids
- Oversee installation of architectural finishes (partitions, flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furnishings)
- Monitor external cladding, insulation, waterproofing,
HVAC penetrations and MEP interface
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and client requirements
- Enforce safety procedures, PPE, and permit-to-work systems
- Participate in quality inspections, dimensional checks, and material verifications
- Support punch listing, NCR resolution, and final walkdowns
- Interface with other discipline supervisors to resolve clashes and ensure progress
- Attend daily coordination meetings and contribute to planning/look-ahead schedules
- Report daily activities, manpower, and progress to Construction Manager or Project Engineer
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering; eight years of field experience after degree
- Excellent spoken and written English including report writing
- Leadership
- Coordination in multicultural/multi-discipline environments
- Communication
- Interpret fabrication and architectural drawings
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Navisworks (or 3D model viewers)
- Hands-on experience with offshore modules and steel erection
