Procurement Specialist
Location: completely full remote – Italy-based
Salary: perm contract €35 -45 K or Italian P.IVA 180 -220 € daily + VAT
to provide operational & strategic procurement support, ensuring effective supplier management, cost optimization & compliance with procurement processes.
The resource will be responsible for managing supplier relationships throughout the procurement lifecycle, from sourcing & negotiation to contract management & purchase order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier sourcing & market scouting
- Supplier evaluation & selection
- Contract negotiation & management
- Definition & management of Framework Agreements
- Supplier onboarding activities
- Creation & management of Purchase Orders (POs)
- Monitoring supplier performance & contractual compliance
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to support procurement initiatives
- Ensuring adherence to procurement policies & best practices
Requirements
- 5 -6 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in Procurement & Supplier Management
- Experience in:
- Supplier sourcing & qualification
- Contract negotiation
- Framework Agreement definition & management
- Supplier onboarding processes
- Purchase Order management
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
- Good analytical & negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
