CyberSecurity Sales Specialist (Enterprise Italy)
CyberSecurity Sales Specialist – North Italy Enterprise HPE Networking is seeking a Cybersecurity Sales Specialist to drive growth and expand adoption of our cybersecurity portfolio across strategic Enterprise accounts in North Italy. This is a highly customer-facing role focused on helping organizations address evolving security challenges while delivering measurable business outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with HPE account teams, channel partners, and customers to develop security-focused account strategies, identify new opportunities, and accelerate revenue growth. Beyond sales success, this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset. As HPE continues to expand its cybersecurity business, we are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to help build a growing practice, navigate evolving market dynamics, and contribute to shaping our future success.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Execution
- Drive revenue growth and market share for HPE Networking Cybersecurity solutions across the assigned territory.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
- Build and execute strategic account plans that align cybersecurity outcomes with customer business priorities.
- Lead cybersecurity-focused sales motions from discovery through closure, coordinating resources across sales, partners, and technical teams.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, pipeline generation goals, and forecast commitments.
Customer Engagement & Advisory
- Engage directly with customer decision makers, including CIOs, CISOs, security leaders, networking leaders, and line-of-business stakeholders.
- Understand customer business challenges, risk posture, and digital transformation initiatives to position relevant cybersecurity solutions.
- Conduct executive conversations focused on business outcomes, cyber resilience, Zero Trust, secure networking, and AI-related security challenges.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey, helping customers build cybersecurity roadmaps aligned to their strategic objectives.
Territory & Account Planning
- Develop cybersecurity-focused territory and account strategies in collaboration with HPE Networking account teams.
- Identify whitespace opportunities within existing HPE customers and prospect accounts.
- Create and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive business development activities.
- Drive account-based selling motions that integrate cybersecurity opportunities into broader HPE engagements.
Partner Ecosystem Development
- Build strong relationships with channel partners, systems integrators, MSSPs, distributors, and strategic alliances.
- Enable partners to identify, position, and deliver HPE cybersecurity solutions.
- Jointly develop pipeline, customer engagements, and go-to-market initiatives with partners.
Market Development & Practice Building
- Actively contribute to the growth and evolution of HPE's cybersecurity business.
- Help establish repeatable sales plays, customer success stories, and best practices.
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, competitive landscapes, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies.
- Embrace ambiguity and help define new approaches in a rapidly evolving market.
Required Qualifications
Experience 5+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, cybersecurity sales, networking sales, or related fields.
Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.
Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
Knowledge & Skills
Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as: Zero Trust Secure networking Network security SASE/SSE Identity and access management Threat protection Cyber resilience
Strong consultative selling and business development skills.
Ability to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.
Strong account planning, territory planning, and pipeline management skills.
Excellent presentation, communication, and executive engagement skills.

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, or industry standards.
Experience developing new markets, launching new solutions, or building emerging practices.
Relevant cybersecurity or sales certifications.

Job: Sales Job Level: MasterSalary
The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – Italy: Annual Salary EUR 117,000 - 218,000 This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 50%/50%.
