Krka is one of the leading international generic pharmaceutical companies, with over 70 years of history and more than 12,000 employees worldwide.We manufacture and market prescription and non-prescription medicines, as well as animal health solutions, covering the entire production cycle: from the active ingredient to the finished product, through to validation via clinical trials.Every year, we invest 10% of our turnover in research and development, and our goal is simple and ambitious: to make safe, effective and high-quality medicines accessible to all.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESWe are looking for a new member to join our Accounting team who, reporting to the Chief Accountant, will be responsible for the following activities:- Management of the accounts payable cycle: recording invoices and analyzing their correct VAT treatment, checking supporting documentation, preparing schedules and payments.- Fixed asset management: maintaining the asset register, calculating and checking depreciation, periodic inventories.- Accounting of material management- Prepare various financial statements, reports, analyses concerning the company’s business operations.- Support in preparing the data for a reporting package for realization, estimates and plan.- Participate in external and internal audits,



tax and possible other reviews and controls.- Monitor the local accounting and tax legislation and regulations and support internal accounting controls.- Cooperate in development and implementation of software applications and potential other IT solution for accounting purposesWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar- At least 3 years' experience in similar roles- Excellent command of English- Knowledge of OIC accounting standards;knowledge of IFRS international accounting standards is a plus- Experiences with Business Central or other ERP- Knowledge of VAT regulations for domestic and international transactions- Excellent organizational skills, precision and aptitude for teamworkWHAT WE OFFER- Permanent contract- Dedicated development and training programs- Competent, collaborative colleagues with a strong aptitude for teamwork- Dynamic and international working environment- Flexible working hours- Salary range 33-40kKrka Farmaceutici will process personal data in accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data, including EU Regulation 2016/679 and Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
