Overview

As a Controls Engineer for Construction, you will deploy and maintain building management and electrical power monitoring systems across AWS data centers. You’ll coordinate with engineering operations, vendors, and internal teams to ensure high availability and on-time delivery. You will translate customer needs into scalable control solutions, develop documentation, and lead commissioning and testing efforts. This role offers the chance to shape critical infrastructure at global scale within a diverse, inclusive team. Responsabilità

- Deploy and maintain BMS and EPMS in AWS data centers
- Coordinate with DCEO teams for new builds and upgrades ensuring availability and resiliency
- On-site management of deployment activities and vendor commissioning
- Ensure on-time delivery within budget; coordinate internal/external teams
- Read, interpret, and implement specifications in work environment




- Develop control panel BOMs and ISA data sheets for instrumentation
- Create drawings for control panels, power distribution, and related schematics
- Develop logic diagrams for PLC/DCS and other control devices
- Prepare cable routing plans and schedules; perform inspection, testing, and commissioning
- Provide technical assistance to internal customers and support existing products
- Collaborate across departments to align project scope with customer needs

Requisiti fondamentali

- Experience with MS Office (including Excel)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience taking design concepts from exploration to deployment
- Experience with power management and power monitoring systems
- 5+ years project management in data centers or equivalent critical infrastructure
- Knowledge of critical data center equipment, engineering documentation, and electrical diagrams
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations (Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA)
