We are now offering a fascinating position as AGL Designer. /p p Designer in Airfield Ground Lighting is positioned as a cross-disciplinary technical integrator, able to connect AGL electronic products, electrical power systems, control and monitoring systems, mechanical and civil installation constraints and international standards. /p p In OCEM the AGL Designer works on international airport projects in more than 190 countries, gaining exposure to different regulatory frameworks, requirements and standards. /p pb Responsibilities /b /p ulli You are accountable for AGL design, system and products integration. /lili You support the Project Engineer and the Bidding Team in defining technical proposals, compliant to customer requirements and AGL international standards. /lili You support the Project Engineer and the Project Management Team during the project life cycle. /lili You generate and maintain system and product documentation such as AGL layout, electrical system schematics, product drawings and design reports. /lili You support the activities of service engineers with AGL system and documentation upgrade. /lili Develop, improve, and maintain the working tools (such as configurator, sign SW, tool for sizing) of the system engineering team. /li /ul pb Qualifications Skills /b /p ulli Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering. /lili A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the electrical or construction industries, engineering companies, or complex technical environments, such as electrical installations, infrastructure projects, process plants, renewable energy plants, or industrial automation systems, is required.



/lili Solid practical experience in electrical and/or civil design, system integration, and electrical product installation. /lili The ability to work across different technical disciplines, including power systems, control systems, field devices, installation requirements, and operational constraints, is key to success in this role. /lili Airport technology experience is not mandatory, but a strong interest in the field is highly appreciated. /lili A good understanding of local and international standards, as well as familiarity with designs developed in accordance with multiple regulations, is an advantage. /lili Knowledge of mechanical/electrical CAD tools is an asset. /lili The ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements is essential. /lili Experience in the continuous and integrated use of generative artificial intelligence tools, together with a strong interest in and commitment to continuously learning new technologies, is key to success in this role. /lili Good organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly are essential soft skills for this role. /lili Good analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. /lili Fluency in English is required; an additional language would be considered a plus. /li /ul pb Personal Competence /b /p ulli You have high degree of flexibility, a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach. /lili You have an international, intercultural mindset and enjoy working with colleagues around the globe. /lili You are creative, dedicated and open-minded, with a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement and effective solutions. /lili You communicate clearly and concisely, and you are able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /lili When travelling internationally, representing OCEM Airfield, you act with professionalism, autonomy and sound judgement, taking initiative when appropriate. /lili You are comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging aviation environment. xrdbqlu /lili You can handle some pressure and have great time management skills. /li /ul /p /p
