Overview

In this role you contribute to the development and oversight of ING Italy's non-financial risk and fraud prevention efforts. You work with business, operations and risk stakeholders to improve risk control design and monitoring, translating complex risks into practical actions. You will analyze incidents, support RCSA oversight, and help strengthen fraud indicators and regulatory responses. This is a collaborative, impact-driven opportunity in a dynamic banking environment.

Responsabilità

- Support the ongoing enhancement of the Bank's Risk Management Framework
- Monitor fraud trends, regulatory developments, and translate insights into concrete actions
- Analyze incidents, root causes, and control weaknesses to support remediation and lessons learned
- Contribute to RCSA oversight, issue management, risk appetite monitoring, control effectiveness assessments and event analysis
- Define and monitor fraud risk indicators (KRIs) and related reporting
- Assess new initiatives, products, and change requests for risk and mitigating measures




- Promote fraud awareness and a strong risk culture across the organization
- Contribute to maintenance and improvement of Business Oversight frameworks, procedures and documentation

Requisiti fondamentali

- Academic degree (MSc or PhD)
- Interest in fraud risk management, fraud prevention and emerging fraud trends
- 4+ years in fraud and/or resilience or security topics; experience in Non-Financial Risk or control functions is a plus
- Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, governance processes, and risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently, challenge constructively and support cross-functional initiatives
- Strong interest in business processes, governance and non-financial risk management in banking/financial services
- Proficient in documentation, processes, controls and qualitative analyses; advanced Excel a plus
- Clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders; collaborative, team-oriented
- Proactive, able to manage multiple activities in parallel
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
