In this R&D role, you will develop and implement electromechanical solutions to advance ABB’s product capabilities. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to translate ideas into tangible designs and reports, driving technical innovation and value for customers. Hybrid work and close collaboration with the R&D team enable you to shape products and mitigate risks in development. Responsabilità

- Propose and implement technology development and solutions
- Execute product development tasks leveraging technical expertise
- Identify problems in assignments and suggest solutions
- Document work and contribute to written reports
- Contribute creative ideas to R&D; projects and propose follow-up activities




- Gather information about ABB products and technological drivers
- Provide consulting to business operations and customers
- Participate in working teams and support colleagues to share knowledge
- Recognize the importance of intellectual property and consider risk management in R&D; projects

Requisiti fondamentali

- 2-5 years of experience in electromechanical engineering
- Enhanced knowledge of 2D CAD and 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks)
- Ability to read simple electrical diagrams
- Capability to design electrical/mechanical solutions starting from scratch
- Innovative, solution-focused mindset with strong written and spoken communication
- Degree in electrical or mechanical technical fields
- Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
