Overview In this role you support materials and external cost planning for complex projects at Hitachi Rail in Milan. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and monitor the project plan and logistics, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. You will shape the supply chain inputs, risk mitigation, and performance tracking to keep projects aligned with contractual requirements.

This is a hands-on position that ties strategic planning to day-to-day execution, with a clear impact on project success and cost control.

Responsabilità

- Estimate total external costs for highly complex tenders
- Plan and forecast external costs (materials, services, packages, subcontractors) during project execution
- Provide supply chain inputs for the integrated project plan
- Issue and distribute planning and logistics documents (Logistics Plan, MPS, Inventory Report)
- Coordinate planning and logistics across entities to ensure timely delivery of project materials




- Manage production launch activities (transfer orders, purchase orders, advance demand)
- Issue purchase requests for materials, services, packages, and subcontractors
- Ensure supplier logistics and planning documentation aligns with contractual requirements
- Monitor and report supplier performance (production, FAT, delivery times, shipping, warehouse) and mitigate risks
- Identify and implement actions to address supplier performance risks or misalignments

Requisiti fondamentali

- 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain
