Within the Space Division, we are looking for an Industrial Engineer at the Pomezia (RM) site.

The person will be responsible for identifying, designing and testing tools and equipment suitable to support the production line of Space Laser systems. The Manufacturing & Supply Chain function is responsible for managing all production and Supply Chain activities with the aim of ensuring delivery performance (times, costs and quality), working in close coordination with the IPTs (Integrated Project Team).

The person will primarily deal with the design and creation of production lines.

In particular, they will carry out the following activities:

- participate in concurrent activities with project engineering
- participate in reviews with the client
- design and manage the commissioning of line equipment,



both mechanical and optical (TGSE with thermal support, MGSE with mechanical support, OGSE with optical support) and related to TVC set-ups
- carry out structural and thermal analyses of the equipment
- support the carrying out of product qualification tests (TVC, vibrations…) both internally and at external suppliers
- support the satellite integration phase
- design packaging for shipping components and products
- contribute to the start-up and validation phases of production lines and support the training of equipment users and line set-ups
- design testing equipment for assemblies, products and systems
- issue packing/unpacking procedures, set-up assembly procedures and commissioning reports
- issue technical specifications for special GSE (lifting systems, handlers, …)

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics.

Required Experience Level:

- Junior: 1-3 years of experience in the role
- Expert: 3-5 years of experience in the role

How does the selection process work?
