Are you an organized, approachable leader who enjoys working with volunteers and supporting a faith community? /ppbr / /ppThis could be a rewarding opportunity to use your experience in a role that directly supports military families. /ppbr / /ppstrongThe role /strong /ppbr / /ppWe are looking for a Protestant Director of Religious Education to join the chapel community at Naval Air Station Sigonella in Sicily, Italy. /ppbr / /ppWorking approximately 12 hours per week, you will coordinate Protestant religious education activities from Pre-K through high school. You will help create well-organized, welcoming programs where children and young people can learn, connect, and grow in their faith. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppAs Protestant Director of Religious Education, you will: /pulliCoordinate Sunday School, Children’s Church, and Protestant Group activities. /liliRecruit, train, schedule, and support volunteer teachers and assistants. /liliPrepare the annual Religious Education calendar. /liliHelp organize Vacation Bible School, Christmas and Easter programs, and other approved events. /liliMaintain attendance records, ministry statistics, and program reports.
