The Role Sicilsaldo S.p.A., an Italian company operating internationally in the Oil Gas and Energy Infrastructure sectors, is looking for an experienced International Tax Accounting Manager to join its Headquarters in Gela, Sicily. brThe position will have a group-wide international scope, supporting the Italian Headquarters in the management and coordination of the tax and accounting aspects of Sicilsaldo's foreign branches, subsidiaries and international projects. brWe are looking for a professional with solid experience in international taxation, cross-border operations and accounting, ideally gained within structured engineering, construction, EPC, Oil Gas or infrastructure companies with significant international operations. brThe successful candidate will act as a key point of reference for the Group on international tax matters, local compliance, tax planning and the financial/accounting coordination of foreign entities, working closely with the CFO, Finance Department, local management and external tax/accounting advisors. brSi assicuri di leggere attentamente le informazioni relative a questa opportunità prima di inviare la sua candidatura. brKey Responsibilities brCoordinate and oversee tax and accounting matters relating to Sicilsaldo's foreign branches and subsidiaries. brMonitor compliance with local tax, accounting and corporate regulations in the countries where the Group operates. brCoordinate with local accountants, tax advisors, auditors and legal professionals. brAnalyse the tax implications of international projects, contracts, intercompany transactions and cross-border flows. brSupport the Group in identifying and implementing legally compliant tax-efficient structures and solutions. brProvide guidance on international taxation, permanent establishments, withholding taxes, corporate taxation, VAT and other indirect taxes applicable to international activities. brSupport the management of intercompany transactions and transfer pricing matters. brMonitor tax risks arising from the establishment and operation of branches, subsidiaries and permanent establishments in foreign jurisdictions. brSupport the Finance Department in the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, financial statements and management reporting relating to international operations. brAnalyse the accounting and tax treatment of international contracts, project costs, revenues and intercompany charges.
brLiaise with local advisors to ensure consistency between Group policies and local statutory requirements. brSupport the CFO and Senior Management in assessing the tax and financial impact of new investments, contracts, countries and business structures. brIdentify potential tax risks, optimisation opportunities and compliance gaps, proposing corrective actions. brTravel frequently to the Group's foreign operations, particularly in Africa, Mexico and the Middle East, to support local management and finance teams. brRequirements brDegree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Tax Law or a related discipline. brAt least 10-15 years of relevant professional experience in international tax, accounting and/or finance. brProven experience in internationally structured companies, preferably within: brOil Gas brEPC / Engineering Construction brPipeline / Energy Infrastructure brIndustrial Construction brEnergy brInternational Contracting brStrong knowledge of international taxation and cross-border transactions. brSolid understanding of corporate taxation, VAT, withholding taxes, permanent establishments and transfer pricing. brGood accounting knowledge and ability to understand and analyse financial statements and accounting processes. brProven ability to work with local tax/accounting advisors and foreign finance teams. brStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. brAbility to work independently and manage multiple countries and projects simultaneously. brFluent English – mandatory. brFrench and/or Spanish – highly desirable, particularly considering the Group's geographical footprint. brWillingness and availability to undertake frequent international business trips. brExperience in OilGas international organisations would be considered particularly relevant. brWhat We Are Looking For brThis is not a traditional accounting position. brWe are looking for a professional capable of combining international tax expertise,
accounting knowledge and business understanding, able to assess the tax consequences of the Group's international activities and proactively identify the most appropriate and tax-efficient solutions within the applicable legal frameworks. brThe ideal candidate is comfortable operating between Headquarters, foreign subsidiaries/branches, project teams, CFO/Finance functions and external advisors, and has a strong understanding of the tax challenges arising from international construction and Oil Gas projects. brLocation Mobility brPrimary workplace: Sicilsaldo S.p.A.
