In this Staff Product Manager role, you guide AI Management modules that connect, govern, and optimize agentic AI and related infrastructure. You'll shape the roadmap, write specs, and coordinate delivery with engineering and cross-functional teams across time zones. You'll bridge field activities—marketing, sales, enablement—with product, ensuring alignment and value delivery.

This role anchors strategic initiatives around the AI Gateway and broader AI Management platform, delivering impactful outcomes for developers and customers.

Responsabilità

- Own the direction and requirements for AI Management modules (models, context, guardrails, policies, evaluation) and drive feature delivery with engineering
- Drive cross-product infrastructure work to connect modules within AI Management and Kong's platform, manage shared roadmaps and dependencies
- Own a clear product roadmap, balance new features with technical debt and platform work, scope with engineering leads
- Act as the communication bridge between engineering, design, product marketing, and leadership, surfacing risks and ensuring alignment across regions




- Support field activities (customer calls, product marketing input, sales enablement) leveraging proximity to Shanghai and runtime knowledge

Requisiti fondamentali
- 7-10 years of product management experience with a track record of shipping technical products
- Experience delivering across distributed teams across time zones without direct authority
- Ability to translate ambiguous technical problems into concrete product requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication in multiple languages (essential for global stakeholders)
- Strong project management instincts for tracking work and maintaining xkiyazw roadmaps
- Comfort discussing MCP servers, transport protocols, data plane architecture, and infrastructure trade-offs
- Bonus: experience with agentic AI, AI gateways, AI observability, and related infrastructure
- Premio: familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and platform engineering workflows
