Overview

As Supply Chain Manager, you will coordinate planning, purchasing, warehouse and logistics to ensure continuous operations and high service levels in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will align cross-functional teams to optimize material flows and inventory while managing a capable team. This role offers impact through improving efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost control at a pharmaceutical site in Milan area. You will shape the end-to-end supply chain to support manufacturing goals and site performance.

Responsabilità

- Lead planning to balance demand, capacity, inventory, and material availability.
- Oversee purchasing to secure timely raw materials, packaging, and services.
- Manage warehouse operations, inbound/outbound flows and logistics.
- Optimize inventory levels and address slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering,



Finance and Commercial functions for integrated supply chain.
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, costs and performance, driving continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop the team, promoting accountability and results orientation.

Requisiti fondamentali

- Solid experience in supply chain within manufacturing, ideally pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of planning, site purchasing, warehouse and logistics processes.
- Experience in managing and developing teams.
- Good understanding of inventory management, production planning and material flow optimization.
- Good knowledge of SAP.
- Fluent or professional working proficiency in English.
