Overview We are looking for a Vision Software Engineer to join our Engineering Business Unit, with the objective of designing, developing and implementing industrial vision systems to support product and process control. The ideal candidate is a technical profile with competencies in software and automation, interested in vision systems applied to industrial environments, and willing to work in dynamic contexts, including international projects.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and implement industrial vision systems for product and process quality control Configure and integrate vision hardware and software (cameras, lenses and lighting systems) within automated machines Develop vision algorithms and applications using programming languages and dedicated libraries Collaborate with automation, engineering and production teams to ensure optimal integration of vision systems within production lines Perform testing, validation and troubleshooting activities on implemented systems Support installation, commissioning and start-up activities at customer sites,
both in Italy and abroad Contribute to the continuous improvement of vision solutions in terms of performance, robustness and standardization Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in scientific disciplines (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or Engineering (Information Engineering, Electronics or similar); candidates with ITS background in mechatronics or IT will also be considered Good knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++ or C# (or similar) English proficiency at least at B1 level Availability to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods Experience in configuring Cognex smart cameras using the In-Sight interface is considered a plus About Us We are a dynamic organization with great customers and a culture where people are valued and empowered to deliver amazing results.
