As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer- Steam Turbines, you will lead on-site installation, maintenance, and commissioning of turbine equipment, delivering safe and compliant solutions for customers. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and document technical activities, while advancing your expertise in steam turbines. The role sits within Baker Hughes IET, emphasising inclusive culture and customer-focused service.
You will travel up to 70% and play a key part in enabling safe operations and reliable energy processes.

Responsabilità
- Provide technical direction for site activities to internal teams and labor to ensure safety, compliance and quality
- Oversee overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of Steam Turbine products at customer sites
- Prepare and update technical documentation and briefing reports for customers and internal teams
- Ensure internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated and followed
Requisiti fondamentali
- Knowledge of installation and maintenance of rotating equipment
- Mechanical experience in energy or oil and gas environment (or similar)
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to guide customers through decisions
- Ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences
- High xkiyazw awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and risks
- Self-motivated with ability to make decisions and innovate solutions
- Proficient in English and Italian (verbal and written)
- EU Passport or European Work permit
- Willingness to travel up to 70%, including offshore facilities
