Project Manager (Utility BESS)

Responsibilities
- Manage project and commissioning works of Trina’s energy storage projects in the Europe cooperating with internal teams, suppliers and contractors
- Support Trina’s project execution efforts by developing and executing commissioning plans
- Manage and negotiate contracts with customers in terms of project delivery clause
- Lead project effort to achieve commercial operations, and handover from delivery/construction team to the O&M; team for each project
- Comply with company policies, ensuring supplier and contractors follow up H&S; regulations
- Develop and execute testing protocols based on market rules, DNO requirements and contractual obligations
- Produce project progress reports and project‘s risk matrix
Requirements
- Suitable engineering degree or qualifications
- Related experience in managing project and commissioning work of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects or other renewable energy projects.
- Must have experience on adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in an operational setting
- Strong experience supervising site activities amongst different contractors
- Familiar with related electrical standards, Regulations and Legislation
- Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and stay focused/execute on goals under tight deadlines
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to interface with multiple parties (contractors, suppliers, client representatives)
- CSCS card holder or eq.
- Excellent MS Office capabilities, SCADA and MODBUS experience will be a plus;
- Must be willing and able to travel in support of existing & new Energy Storage fleet
- Passion for your work, strong communication skills,
a flexible and positive attitude, structured and dedicated way of working
- Languages: Fluent English and Italian / Germany any other addition language will be a plus
