Sales Engineer – Northern Italy

Are you a technically minded sales professional with experience in electronic or electromechanical components ?
IQM Selezione is recruiting, on behalf of an established international company operating in the electronic and electromechanical components industry , a:
SALES ENGINEER – NORTHERN ITALY
This is an opportunity to join an international and structured environment, taking responsibility for developing business across Northern Italy and building long-term relationships with industrial customers, OEMs and distributors.
Your role
You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities across Northern Italy, managing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities, particularly within the industrial and energy markets .
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and expanding the customer portfolio across Northern Italy
• Promoting and selling electronic and electromechanical components
• Building strong relationships with customers, OEMs and distributors
• Identifying new markets, applications and business opportunities
• Providing customers with technical and commercial support throughout the sales process
• Preparing quotations, sales forecasts, reports and project updates
• Managing sales activities and opportunities through CRM tools
• Representing the company at trade fairs, customer meetings and industry events
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate has:
• 3–5 years of B2B technical sales experience , preferably within electronic, electromechanical or passive components
• Good technical understanding of electronic and/or electromechanical products
• Experience within industrial or energy markets is highly valued
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• A customer-oriented and consultative sales approach
• Ability to manage complex and potentially long sales cycles
• Strong organizational skills and a results-driven mindset
• Confidence working within an international environment
• Availability to travel within the assigned territory
Requirements
• Fluent Italian
• Fluent English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SAP and CRM systems is considered an advantage
• A technical background or qualification in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or a related field is appreciated, but not mandatory
