Role Description The Public Relations Communications Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role supports the planning and execution of PR activities, including drafting and distributing press releases, assisting with media outreach, and maintaining relationships with journalists and industry stakeholders. Daily tasks include preparing communication materials, coordinating events and announcements, monitoring media coverage, and responding to external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
The role also involves supporting customer-facing communications, ensuring consistent brand messaging across channels, and collaborating with internal teams to manage projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear, accurate, and engaging content for various audiences.
- Experience with press releases and public relations activities, including media outreach and monitoring.
- Customer service skills with a focus on professional, courteous, and solution-oriented interactions.
- Basic project management abilities to plan, organize, and track PR and communication initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Cairo, Egypt and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
