La preghiamo di leggere la descrizione almeno una volta prima di fare clic su "Candidati". brpb About the role /b /pp We are transforming laboratory operations into a fully digital, data-driven and increasingly intelligent laboratory environment. /pp As a b Data Engineering Intern /b – Digital Laboratory, you will work on real-world projects that connect laboratory systems, data platforms, analytics and automation. /pp Your main focus will be data engineering: extracting, transforming, integrating and structuring laboratory data so that it can be used for Power BI, automation, AI and future machine-learning applications. /pp You will work with technologies such as Python, SQL, APIs, cloud data platforms and Power BI, while gaining exposure to laboratory systems and digital transformation in a regulated Life Sciences environment. /pp This is an opportunity to work on projects designed to eliminate manual data handling, reduce paperwork and unnecessary system interactions, and make laboratory processes faster and more intelligent. /p pb What you will work on /b /ppb1. Laboratory Data Engineering /b /pulli Develop Python and SQL solutions for data extraction and transformation. /lili Build and maintain data pipelines for laboratory and operational data. /lili Transform raw data into structured, reusable datasets. /lili Support the development of laboratory data lake/lakehouse capabilities. /lili Automate recurring data preparation activities currently performed manually. /lili Implement basic data-quality checks and validation rules. /lili Help document data sources, structures and transformations. /li /ulpb2. Laboratory Systems Data /b /pulli Work with data originating from laboratory systems.
/lili Support extraction and analysis of data through appropriate, supported integration mechanisms. /lili Analyze, and identify opportunities for standardization and reuse. /lili Help create datasets that can be used for laboratory analytics and reporting. /lili Work with laboratory application specialists to understand how laboratory data is generated and used. /lili You do not need previous industry experience. We are looking for strong technical fundamentals and curiosity about laboratory technology. /li /ulpb3. Power BI Analytics Automation /b /pulli Support automated Power BI datasets, create and improve dashboards and manage reporting pipelines. /lili Build data transformations that eliminate manual Excel preparation. /lili Help develop reusable data models for laboratory KPIs. /lili Investigate data-quality issues affecting dashboards and reports. /lili Improve reliability and automation of recurring reporting processes. /li /ulpb4. Data Integration APIs /b /pulli Work with REST APIs and system integrations. /lili Develop scripts and connectors to move data between systems. /lili Investigate different approaches to integrating laboratory and enterprise applications. /lili Help build reusable integration components rather than one-off data extracts. /li /ulpb5. AI Machine Learning Exposure /b /pp Although data engineering is the primary focus, you will also be exposed to AI and ML projects. /pp You may contribute to: /pulli Preparing datasets for ML models. /lili Data pipelines supporting AI applications. /lili Anomaly detection and laboratory performance analytics. /lili AI-agent and RAG-based solutions. /lili Data preparation for predictive laboratory use cases. /lili Experimenting with automation technologies. /lili The objective is to understand how good data engineering enables useful AI,

Digital Laboratory Automation /b /pp You will also help identify opportunities to remove unnecessary manual work. /pp For example: /pulli Manual Excel extraction → automated pipeline /lili Repeated data entry → system integration /lili Manual report preparation → automated Power BI /lili Paper-based information flow → digital workflow /lili Manual data investigation → AI-assisted analysis /lili You will work with the team to turn these opportunities into practical solutions. /li /ul pb What we are looking for: /b /pulli Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or recently graduated in: Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics / Statistics, Engineering or a related field. /lili Good understanding of Python. /lili Good understanding of SQL and relational databases. /lili Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. /lili Interest in data engineering and technology. /lili Willingness to learn new technologies independently. /lili Good English communication skills. /li /ulpu Nice to have: /u /pulli Experience with Power BI. /lili Experience with Azure or another cloud platform. /lili Experience with data pipelines / ETL / ELT. /lili Knowledge of REST APIs. /lili Familiarity with Git/GitHub. /lili Python libraries such as pandas. /lili Basic understanding of data lakes/lakehouses. /lili Basic knowledge of machine learning. /lili Experience with Power Automate or RPA. /lili Interest in AI, LLMs or AI agents. /lili Previous experience with laboratory, healthcare or pharmaceutical data. /li /ul pbu You do not need to know all of these technologies.
