NTU Internationalis preparing a proposal for the project"Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost."
The programme aims to strengthen cooperation betweenAfrica and the European Union in the space sector, supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.
In this context, we are seeking a highly qualifiedNon-Key Expert – Space Applications Expert, Earth Observation & Copernicusto support the development, deployment and uptake of Earth Observation (EO) services and applications, including solutions based onCopernicus data and products, addressing key development, climate and environmental priorities in Africa.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
University degree atMaster's levelingeomatics, remote sensing,
environmental science, meteorology, engineering, or a related field.
Excellent command ofEnglish.
Working knowledge ofFrench and/or Portuguesewill be considered an asset.
Minimum General Professional Experience
Minimum8 years of professional experienceinEarth Observation, geospatial services, remote sensing and/or climate/environmental services.
Minimum Specific Professional Experience
At least4 years of professional experience designing or delivering Earth Observation services and applications, preferably usingCopernicus data and products, in areas such as early warning, climate, environment, agriculture, water or biodiversity.
