You will support the commercial delivery of complex, high-value data centre projects throughout Italy and Europe. You will contribute to the commercial performance of major mission-critical developments from feasibility and procurement through construction, commissioning and close-out. /p p Working closely with clients, project teams and senior stakeholders, you will play an important role in driving cost certainty, mitigating risk, and ensuring successful project outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing sectors in construction while contributing to the commercial delivery of some of Europe's most significant digital infrastructure projects. /p pb Key Responsibilities: /b /pulli Deliver commercial and cost management services across multiple large-scale data centre projects. /lili Support the development and implementation of commercial strategies that support successful project delivery and client objectives.
/lili Provide cost planning, benchmarking, budgeting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. /lili Advise clients on procurement strategy, contract selection and risk allocation. /lili Manage tender processes, tender analysis and contract award recommendations. /lili Support negotiations and administration of contracts, including NEC and JCT forms where applicable. /lili Manage variations, change control processes, claims and commercial matters. /lili Review project financial performance, forecasts, cash flow and commercial reporting across multiple commissions. /lili Drive value engineering initiatives and cost optimisation strategies while maintaining project quality and performance standards. /lili Support commercial governance and assurance across project portfolios. /lili Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders. /lili Support business development activities, client pursuits and proposal preparation. /lili Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate. /lili Support regional leadership with commercial reporting, resource planning and operational performance management. /li /ul ullib Qualifications: /b /lilib Education:
/b Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. /lilib Experience: /b 3-5+ years of experience in cost consultancy, commercial management, or quantity surveying, with exposure to large-scale construction projects. /lilib Professional Accreditation: /b MRICS, AssocRICS, or working towards chartered status preferred. /lili Experience supporting complex commercial programmes and multi-disciplinary project teams. /lili Good understanding of NEC, JCT and other standard forms of construction contract. /lili Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure or similarly complex projects. /lili Strong knowledge of commercial risk management, procurement strategies and construction project delivery. /lili Experience managing multiple projects and client stakeholders simultaneously. /lili Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide advice and support to clients and project teams. /li /ul pb Cumming Group /b is committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
