Responsibilities
Lead and support commissioning of LV/MV electrical systems, including UPS, switchgear, transformers, generators and power distribution.
Plan and execute commissioning activities, functional testing, load bank testing and system validation.
Coordinate commissioning programmes, documentation and project handover.
Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and verify system performance against client specifications.
Liaise with project teams, OEMs, designers and client representatives throughout the commissioning process.
Ensure all activities are delivered safely,
in accordance with industry standards and project quality requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues during testing and energisation.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance where required.
Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
5+ years' commissioning experience within data centres, mission-critical or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of LV/MV power distribution, UPS, generators and electrical protection systems.
Experience producing commissioning documentation and leading site-based testing activities.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. xrdbqlu
