Do you enjoy working with data, collaborating with different teams and turning numbers into useful business insights? /pp If so, you could be the right person to join our Finance Team as a b Business Controller /b /pp In this role, you will support the Business Controlling team in monitoring the financial and operational performance of our Ground Rail activities. /pp Working closely with Finance and Operations, you will develop a solid understanding of management control processes, business performance, cost drivers and profitability, contributing to reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities. /pp This opportunity is designed for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to build strong foundations in b Business Controlling within an international logistics environment /b . /ppb Your Responsibilities /b /pulli Support the analysis of financial and operational performance across Ground Rail activities. /lili Assist in monitoring revenues, costs, margins and key business performance indicators. /lili Contribute to monthly management reporting activities, analysing actual results against budget, forecast and previous periods. /lili Support the preparation of periodic reports and performance analyses for Business Controlling and management. /lili Assist the team during budgeting and forecasting processes, collecting and analysing financial and operational data. /lili Monitor financial and operational KPIs, supporting the identification of key trends and performance variances. /lili Help analyse the main operational cost drivers, including volumes, productivity, labour and warehousing costs. /lili Support profitability analyses by customer, contract or operational site. /lili Work with Operations and Finance teams to ensure consistency between operational information and financial data.
/lili Support reconciliation activities between accounting data and management reporting. /lili Contribute to the preparation of dashboards, presentations and business performance reviews. /lili Participate in the development and improvement of controlling tools, reports and data analysis processes. /lili Support ad hoc financial analyses and business cases according to business needs. /li /ul pb Who We Are Looking For /b /ppb Education /b /pp Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related field. /pp Recent graduates or candidates with limited professional experience are welcome to apply. /ppb Technical Skills /b /pulli Basic understanding of Management Control, financial analysis, accounting or corporate finance. /lili Good knowledge of Excel and confidence working with numbers and datasets. /lili Interest in business performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. /lili Interest in logistics, supply chain and operational business environments. /lili Knowledge of Power BI, ERP systems or other data analysis tools is considered an advantage. /lili Good command of written and spoken English. /li /ulpb Personal Business Skills /b /pulli Strong analytical mindset and curiosity. /lili Ability to work with numbers while maintaining a business-oriented perspective. /lili Problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn. /lili Proactive and collaborative approach. /lili Accuracy and attention to detail. /lili Good organizational skills. /lili Effective communication and teamwork. /lili Ability to summarize information and communicate key findings clearly. /lili Motivation to develop within an international and operationally driven organization. /li /ulpb What We Offer /b /ppb Contract type:
