Overview
In this role you will verify and validate IXL functionalities for railway traffic management, shaping testing strategies across lab and on-site environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure software and data meet Alstom standards and contribute to system acceptance activities. The position offers field exposure in Italy and collaboration on international projects within a leader in integrated transport systems. You will drive quality through structured testing, reporting, and validation of customer configurations.
Responsabilità
Define and execute test plans for IXL functionalities
Identify tests for laboratory and on-site execution
Conduct SW/data testing sessions and coordinate with other testing engineers
Apply V&V; methods and change/configuration management per Alstom standards
Run tests and deliver acceptance test reports
Support Testing & Commissioning during system acceptance
Assist with customer acceptance activities (lab configuration, tests, on-site support)
Requisiti fondamentali
University Engineering degree in Informatics, Electronics, Automation, IT, Telecom or equivalent
Strong team-oriented mindset
Availability for weekly field activities in Italy
Good command of written and spoken English
Software development skill is a plus
