Hydrographic/Geophysical Data Processor
The Hydrographic/Geophysical Data Processor is responsible for the processing, reporting and
charting of all geophysical project data.
The person we are looking for will have to deal mainly with the following:
Processing of multi beam (MBES), side scan sonar (SSS), sub-bottom profiler (SBP) and magnetometer data, in line with internal procedures and external/Client specifications;
Data QA/QC
Interpretation, charting and report writing;
Experience in Seismic Data Processing and Interpretation is a desired skill
Qualification:
Preferable Bachelor degree in Earth Sci./Eng./Nautical Science
Experience:
Experience in Geophysics preferred
Minimum Requirements
:
Computer knowledge (Windows OS)
Autodesk AutoCAD Basic Knowledge
Good English speaking, writing, reading and listening
Able to work flexible hours,
travel when required and work offshore
Microsoft Office Package usage
Unrestricted ability to travel
Willingness to work offshore/abroad for long periods
Good communication and teamwork skills are essential
The ideal candidate shall meet the following requirements in addition to the above:
Bosiet / Huet Valid certificate (OPITO approved)
Valid passport
Tempo pieno contract (fixed / indeterminate time) and classification (level and remuneration) will be
defined during the final interview.
The research is extended to both sexes (Law 903?77) and is urgent.
