BACK OFFICE SPECIALIST – TOUR OPERATOR

We are a tour operator specializing in incoming tourism in Rome, and we are looking for a Back Office Specialist with solid experience in the tourism industry to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing our commercial offering and optimizing sales, with a particular focus on pricing, availability, seasonality, and the performance of our main online sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and update pricing and availability for our tours and experiences;
- Analyze seasonality, demand, and competitor positioning in order to optimize prices and sales conditions;
- Continuously monitor product and channel performance;
- Implement revenue management strategies aimed at maximizing company revenue and profitability;
- Manage and optimize the distribution of our products across the main OTAs and online sales platforms;
- Manage availability, calendars, pricing, restrictions, and product information through Rezdy;
- Manage operational and commercial relationships with platforms such as GetYourGuide, Headout, and Tiqets;
- Monitor bookings, sales, and product performance, taking prompt action when issues or commercial opportunities arise;
- Keep all information regarding regulations, access procedures, time slots, availability, and visiting conditions for Rome's main tourist attractions constantly updated;
- Pay particular attention to the procedures and regulations relating to the Colosseum Archaeological Park, as well as Rome's museums, archaeological sites, and other major cultural attractions;
- Work closely with the operations and sales teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all services sold.

Essential Requirements We are looking for a candidate with solid and in-depth knowledge of the Roman tourism market, who possesses:




- Full operational knowledge of Rezdy;
- Proven experience managing the main tourism OTAs, particularly GetYourGuide, Headout, and Tiqets;
- Strong skills in pricing, availability management, and pricing strategies;
- The ability to analyze market trends, seasonality, and competitor activity;
- In-depth knowledge of the regulations and access procedures governing Rome's museums and archaeological sites, particularly the Colosseum Archaeological Park;
- Excellent knowledge of Rome's tourism industry and local attractions;
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
- An analytical mindset and a strong results-oriented approach;
- English: minimum C1 level, both written and spoken;
- Italian: minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a tour operator, DMC, OTA, travel agency, or incoming tourism company;
- Specific experience in revenue management and yield management within the tourism industry;
- Knowledge of additional channel managers, booking engines, or distribution systems;
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages;
- Previous experience managing the commercial side of tours, guided visits, museums, and tourist attractions.

The Profile We Are Looking For We are not simply looking for an administrative back-office employee. We are looking for someone who can read the market, anticipate demand, and turn data, availability, and seasonality into sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate is accurate, independent, analytical, proactive, and commercially minded, with a strong understanding of Rome's tourism products and the main channels through which they are sold.

Retribuzione: €1.200,00 - €1.400,00 al mese
