Overview
In this role you will lead mechanical design work for power transformers, aligning with IEC and internal standards.
You will create 3D designs and calculations, participate in design verifications, and manage changes with cross-functional teams.
You will interface with suppliers and customers to ensure quality, on-time, within-cost deliverables, and you will assess risks and opportunities to drive project success.
This is a hands-on engineering role in a safety- and integrity-driven environment with real impact on transformer performance and delivery.

Responsabilità
3D design of mechanical internal parts of electrical transformers, with drawings and calculations according to spec
Contribute to design reviews and verification activities
Identify variation requests to support contract changes
Follow work plans and cost estimates to ensure quality deliverables on time and within cost
Complete risk and opportunity assessments and implement resulting actions
Report contract/quality/program/cost issues to management
Attend project meetings and present design aspects
Collaborate with supply chain, review vendor documentation, evaluate standard materials and equipment
Assist in communication with customers on project design assignments or meetings
Create specifications for purchasing and manufacturing, interface with suppliers and production
Use internal standards, rules, processes and tools
Uphold safety and integrity as core company values
Requisiti fondamentali
Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma in electrical/mechanical
3/4 years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design
Experience in transformers is a plus
Good knowledge of CAD 2D/3D
PTC Creo Parametric, SAP knowledge is a plus
Good knowledge of English and Italian
Availability for short, occasional trips to customers/suppliers
