As Lead Embedded Software Engineer, you will guide a high-performing Linux-based embedded team to design and deliver next-generation products.
You balance hands-on technical contribution with people leadership to ensure architectural excellence, quality, and timely execution.

Responsabilità
Lead and mentor an embedded software team to foster collaboration and continuous improvement
Drive technical strategy and architecture for Linux-based embedded platforms
Plan and coordinate development activities to align with goals, timelines, and quality
Contribute hands-on to design, development, and debugging of complex embedded software
Enforce best practices in coding, reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, and product management
Manage technical risks, support root cause analysis, and resolve problems
Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
Requisiti fondamentali
Master in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics
Fluent in Italian and English
5+ years of embedded software experience
Strong Linux embedded systems knowledge (kernel, drivers, system internals)
Proficient in C/C++
Solid experience with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar build systems
Experience with debugging tools (gdb, strace, perf)
Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet
Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
Good understanding of performance optimization under resource constraints
Proven experience leading software development teams
Ability to work in cross-functional, international environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management
