Overview
In this role you drive the reliability and evolution of engineering tools across the CAD landscape for turbomachinery design.
You will work with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain advanced CAD applications, enabling faster, more accurate development of complex components.
You'll optimize tool performance, governance, and data quality while supporting users and suppliers.
This is a hands-on, impact-focused role at the intersection of digital engineering and engineering excellence.

Responsabilità
Own maintenance and support of catalogues and cloud-based engineering apps to ensure stable operations
Monitor tool performance, licenses, interfaces, and incidents to meet SLAs
Serve as primary contact for end users and stakeholders, coordinating support, changes, and enhancements
Provide functional/technical user support, root-cause analysis, and knowledge capture of recurring issues
Manage tool lifecycle activities including upgrades, configuration, governance, data quality, and access control
Drive continuous improvement for usability,
efficiency, automation, and stability across the engineering app landscape
Contribute to CAD automation developments across CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX)
Requisiti fondamentali
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus at least 2 years in a similar role
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks)
Knowledge of ENG processes for 3D Catalogues, Plants, detailed Design and VR
Knowledge of CLOUD Platform management
Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and turbomachinery components
Knowledge of drafting standards, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis
Fluent in English and Italian
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
