Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works.
We are currently seeking a highly motivatedPayroll/Administration Officerto join our high performing and inclusive team at our office in Morwell, VIC.
Reporting directly to the Finance Lead, you will be responsible for accurate weekly timesheet and payroll processing, together with delegated administration support across the BMC Group.This is a local position only.

What you will bringDemonstrated experience processing high-volume weekly payrolls within strict and immovable deadlines
A minimum of three years' experience in a high-volume payroll position, preferably within construction, maintenance or a similar industrial environment
Proven ability to process large volumes of timesheets,
payroll adjustments, allowances and employee changes accurately and efficiently
Experience interpreting and applying multiple Enterprise Agreements and project-specific payroll conditions
Strong reconciliation skills, numerical accuracy and attention to detail while working under significant time pressure.
Proven ability to identify payroll anomalies, investigate discrepancies and elevate complex or unclear matters appropriately
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and fluctuating workloads
Demonstrated experience providing high-volume administration support across multiple departments, projects or operational teams
Experience maintaining employee and project records, reports, document registers, purchase orders and invoice administration
The ability to respond to a high volume of payroll and administration enquiries professionally and promptly
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with employees, supervisors and managers across the BMC Group
The ability to follow established controls, maintain strict confidentiality, use initiative and meet compliance requirements
A flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational requirements
