Requirements
MScinAerospaceorSpaceorTelecommunicationEngineeringorIT.
Proven experience – at least3years– inground operations, including direct involvement inLEOPactivities.
Networkandsystem admin, knowledge onmission planningandflight dynamics systems.
Knowledge ofTT&C; systems,ground networks, andmission control infrastructure.
Familiarity withground segment monitoringandtelemetry handling.
Strongproblem-solvingandtroubleshooting skillsintime-critical environments.
Advanced level ofEnglishand excellentcommunication skills.
Experience inLEOmissionswill be a plus.
Legal and Security Requirements
Applicants must be legally allowed to work in the EU and hold aEuropean citizenship.
Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
Copy ofpassport and degree(s) certificate.
Good conduct certificatefrom the country where currently resident.
Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference checks.
Responsibilities
The GOE provides technical operations support for the ground segment, maintaining communication link integrity and resolving system-level issues in coordination with the GOM and SOEs.
The main tasks will be the following:
Monitor ground station telemetry reception and uplink performance in real time.
Troubleshoot communication issues (RF link, data transfer, network latency).
Manage system configuration, patching, and operational readiness of mission control infrastructure including MPS (mission Planning System) and FDS (Flight dynamics system).
Maintain ground segment logs and support anomaly investigations.
Assist in the testing and validation of ground system updates.
