ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Systems & DevOps Engineer at CodeRoad, you will anchor the
management, release management, and continuous optimization of enterprise
Windows Server and Microsoft Azure environments. In this role, you will bridge
the gap between software development PODs and infrastructure operations,
managing reliable CI/CD pipelines and taking ownership of deployment automation,
IIS application hosting, and system administration.
This role is critical to eliminating deployment bottlenecks, ensuring uptime,
and driving engineering speed with confidence. By managing build/deployment
systems (TeamCity/Octopus Deploy), automating Windows configurations via
PowerShell,
and supporting cloud integration, your work will directly impact the
performance, scalability, and operational excellence of our clients' core
software products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage Windows & Web Infrastructure: Administer, configure, and troubleshoot
Windows Server environments and Internet Information Services (IIS) web
applications to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
* Build & Release Automation: Maintain and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines
using TeamCity (or similar CI engines) and Octopus Deploy for streamlined
application releases.
* Scripting & Automation: Author, maintain, and execute comprehensive
PowerShell scripts for system administration, configuration management, and
repetitive deployment tasks.
* Package Management: Support development teams with enterprise artifact and
package management workflows (NuGet, npm, pnpm).
* Cloud Operations & Monitoring: Assist in man
