In this role you drive new customer acquisition in the Italian pharmaceutical sector, shaping the growth of Ecolab Life Sciences. You will manage a large sales pipeline, develop strategic plans, and close opportunities with key stakeholders. You’ll stay ahead of market trends and collaborate across teams to win new business. This position combines technical insight with strategic execution to expand our presence in pharma markets.

- Drive new customer acquisition with a hunter approach in pharmaceutical industries
- Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting prioritized opportunities
- Respond to inbound leads and close new accounts using a consultative approach
- Leverage knowledge of the Italy pharmaceutical industry to establish credibility with customers
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitors
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to win new business
- Participate in industry seminars, trade shows and conferences to create contacts and stay informed
- 10+ years of successful technical or outside sales experience with a consultative approach
- Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field
- Ideally experience xysqume in industrial environments (Personal Care)
- Willingness to travel within Italy
- Strong interpersonal, intercultural and relationship skills
- Analytical mindset, high learning agility, proactive hands-on approach
- Project management, organizational and planning skills
