You are Absa.You are possibility.Job SummaryOverall job purposeTo support the execution of Trade Finance operations by delivering in a wide range of activities such as transaction processing, signature verification, validation of documents, data entry and attend to queries from the portal.Job DescriptionKey accountabilitiesTrade Finance ProcessingEffect accurate input for sanctions screening of trade transactionsSignature verification prior to processing activities for Middle OfficeTo promptly action any requests from the trade portalRecording bank transactions in systemsEngaging with different departments for pre-authorization transaction before processing in Middle OfficeValidate documents to comply with current sanction policyTo schedule currencies and send position sheet to Treasury for processingTo elevate due payments to Treasury operationsProvide an efficient service by attending queriesRaise entries manually at Middle Office levelTo effect settlement of loan on due dateTo monitor complaints and raise to higher managements as and when requiredCompile AML questionnaires according to standardsEffective data management to meet the standards of practiceAdhere to SLA and ABSA banking practice and procedures to ensure complianceTo provide the required documents to the customersPrepare and send advice (Copy of documentary credit/ amendment to customers)Running regular reports for tracking and monitoringScan and upload of documents on bank's systemExperience and EducationMinimum of 2 years’ relevant banking experience in Trade Finance, with strong knowledge of trade products and documentation.Degree holder in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field, with the ability to support and execute trade finance operations efficiently.Education#J-18808-Ljbffr
