ppbIOTA Group /b has been supporting its clients for more than 40 years by providing specialized technical expertise for complex international projects, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors. /ppWe are seeking an experienced bHVAC Engineer /b to join the Engineering team supporting a major bonshore LNG development in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique /b. /ppThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating bHVAC engineering activities /b, ensuring technical integrity, HSE compliance, quality, schedule, and effective coordination with engineering contractors, package vendors, and other disciplines. /ph3Job Description /h3ulliLead and coordinate HVAC engineering activities across the full scope of project buildings. /liliManage the issuance, review, approval, and close-out of HVAC engineering documentation. /liliEnsure all HVAC designs comply with project HSE requirements and applicable safety standards. /liliSupervise HVAC engineering contractors and package vendors delivering detailed engineering. /liliMonitor HVAC engineering progress against bschedule, cost, quality, and technical requirements /b. /liliReview and comment on contractor and vendor documentation for compliance with project specifications, SOR, design requirements, HSE regulations, and applicable international codes. /liliDevelop and review HVAC technical deliverables, including bdatasheets, calculations, specifications, PIDs, layouts, schedules, and technical requisitions /b. /liliEnsure consistency and technical alignment of HVAC documentation and ITT packages. /liliProvide technical support for HVAC systems serving bhazardous and classified areas /b. /liliCoordinate HVAC engineering activities with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Civil/Structural, Piping, and other disciplines.
/liliParticipate in b3D model reviews, constructability reviews, and multidisciplinary design coordination /b. /liliParticipate in bHAZOP and other project safety/design review activities /b. /liliSupport bFATs, vendor inspections, equipment testing, and technical evaluations /b as required. /liliIdentify opportunities for bcost optimization, standardization, simplification, and design improvement /b. /liliFollow up on contractor/vendor comments and ensure timely incorporation and close-out. /liliEnsure HVAC engineering deliverables are complete, technically compliant, and suitable for bcommissioning, handover, and operational takeover /b. /liliSupport the project through the transition from Engineering into Construction and, as required, commissioning and handover activities. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ullibMaster’s degree / Bac+5 or equivalent /b in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline. /liliMinimum b10 years of HVAC engineering experience /b within Oil Gas, LNG, EPC, petrochemical, or comparable large-scale industrial projects. /liliProven experience in the engineering and design of bHVAC systems for hazardous/classified areas /b, including bZone classification, ATEX, or equivalent requirements /b. /liliStrong knowledge of international HVAC and Oil Gas standards, including bASHRAE, NFPA, API, ISO /b,
and other applicable industry standards and regulations. /liliDemonstrated experience reviewing and approving HVAC engineering documentation across blarge, multi-building industrial projects /b. /liliStrong technical experience with HVAC bcalculations, datasheets, specifications, PIDs, layouts, technical requisitions, and vendor documentation /b. /liliProven experience supervising and coordinating bengineering contractors and HVAC package vendors /b. /liliExperience managing contractor/vendor document review cycles, including technical comments, revisions, compliance verification, and close-out. /liliFamiliarity with bFAT procedures, vendor inspections, equipment testing, and technical acceptance activities /b. /liliExperience participating in bHAZOP studies, multidisciplinary design reviews, 3D model reviews, and constructability assessments /b. /liliDemonstrated ability to take HVAC engineering deliverables through to bfinal documentation and project handover /b. /liliPrevious experience in a bdiscipline lead, senior engineer, or supervisory role /b, with increasing scope and responsibility. /lilibChartered Engineer, PE, or equivalent professional certification /b is preferred. /liliFluent bEnglish /b, both written and spoken. /liliStrong communication, coordination, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. /liliProactive bsafety-first mindset /b with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international project environment. /liliWillingness and availability to work binitially in Milan and subsequently at the Afungi project site in Mozambique /b. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3ulliPlace of work (City country ) : Milan ITALY /liliWorking Schedule : Resident /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
