Avionic System Engineer:
TXT e-Tech, a company within the TXT Group, is seeking Avionics System Engineers to join its Aerospace & Aviation division, where they will be involved in an avionics development programme for a new-generation military platform.
The successful candidates will contribute to the design and modelling of complex avionics systems and subsystems, handling the definition, analysis and management of system requirements in accordance with the programme’s processes, standards and guidelines.
The role involves collaborating with international multidisciplinary teams and participating in the various phases of the avionics system development cycle.
Following an initial induction period and assignment at the client’s premises in Turin (6–12 months), candidates will join the international team in the UK for an indicative period of 2–3 years, offering a significant opportunity for professional development in a technologically advanced and international environment.
Main responsibilities:
Analyse input requirements;
Develop the SysML model and the related derived requirements in accordance with programme-level guidelines, including inputs relating to safety, security, human factors and supportability;
Participate in tri-national review meetings, as required;
Contribute to the activities of the Requirements Management team;
Participate in the management of the DOORS database, including the development of automation routines.
Required technical skills:
Good knowledge of aircraft systems and aircraft support systems;
Excellent command of written and spoken English;
Familiarity with requirements management and specification.
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of SysML;
Knowledge of Cameo and Doors tools;
Knowledge of the MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) approach;
Knowledge of safety and security issues relating to aircraft and support systems.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.

The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 27.000 € and EUR 31.000 € gross per year.
The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
