ppPE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join our client on a Data Centre project in Italy. This is a tempo pieno, permanent role based in Bertonico. /ph3The Job: /h3pThis role will be responsible for managing all Mechanical works on site, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. /ph3Requirements /h3ulliManage and oversee all Mechanical construction activities across the project lifecycle /liliLead day-to-day mechanical site operations in coordination with the wider project team /liliEnsure QA/QC processes are implemented and maintained in line with project specifications and standards /liliCoordinate project schedules with Planners, Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants, and design teams /liliManage mechanical subcontractor performance, including progress tracking, manpower levels, and coordination meetings /liliEnsure all subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained and up to date /liliAttend and lead Site Meetings, Engineering Reviews, Planning Meetings, and Handover Meetings /liliLiaise with the design team to ensure construction information and technical submittals are issued in line with programme requirements /liliReview drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure quality, compliance,
and buildability of mechanical systems /liliEnsure adherence to health safety standards and drive a strong safety culture on site /liliSupport commercial management by tracking variations, managing costs, and attending weekly commercial meetings /liliIssue progress reports to senior management and the project team /liliManage mechanical snagging activities and ensure effective and timely close-out /liliProactively identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination issues /li /ulh3Skills Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar discipline /liliMinimum 8+ years’ experience within mechanical construction, with a focus on site management /liliProven experience managing mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, and associated services) on large-scale construction projects /liliStrong knowledge of construction sequencing, coordination, and programme delivery /liliExcellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills /liliStrong technical understanding of mechanical systems, installation practices, and commissioning processes /liliProven ability to manage subcontractors and drive project delivery /liliData centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
