HCM Lead Functional Consultant (Italian speaking)

Overview In this role you drive end-to-end Workday HCM implementations for a varied client portfolio, partnering with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into system configurations. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers from requirements gathering through deployment and knowledge transfer while supporting pre-sales efforts. You’ll work within Workday’s culture of integrity and collaboration, contributing to AI adoption initiatives and internal optimization projects.

This is a growth path in a globally distributed HCM consulting practice in Italy.

Responsabilità

- Lead end-to-end Workday HCM implementations across multiple streams
- Translate customer requirements into configured solutions
- Act as trusted advisor to customers and transfer vision into configuration
- Support testing, issue resolution, and post-production knowledge transfer




- Engage in pre-sales activities and translate aspirations into configurable solutions
- Collaborate with Data and Integration teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Participate in internal initiatives focused on optimization and AI adoption
- Deliver 1–3 full-cycle implementation projects in the first year

Requisiti fondamentali

- 7+ years in HCM software solutions or systems
- 7+ years of consulting experience
- Business analysis and requirements gathering skills
- Strong stakeholder management and trust-building abilities
- Detail-oriented problem solver with focus on exceptional customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn technology quickly through various mediums
- Remote work adaptability and autonomy
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Fluency in English and Italian
