Reporting to the Global Tax, Customs & Accounting Finance Director, the Global Accounting Manager is responsible for establishing and leading the Global Accounting governance model, ensuring alignment, consistency, and compliance across Regional Accounting teams.
The role acts as the key point of coordination between Global Finance and the Regions, driving the development of a structured accounting reporting framework, defining and implementing new accounting processes, and ensuring the effective governance of accounting activities worldwide. In addition, the Global Accounting Manager oversees the company reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy, quality and timeliness of financial information while supporting the evolution of the Global Accounting organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Define and implement the Global Accounting governance model, ensuring consistent application of accounting standards, policies and procedures across regions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Regional Accounting teams, fostering collaboration, alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Design and oversee a structured global accounting reporting framework, ensuring visibility and consistency of accounting information.
- Coordinate and monitor regional accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Group accounting principles and internal control requirements.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
- Maintain overall responsibility for the company reporting activities, ensuring the quality and reliability of accounting outputs.
- Drive the design, implementation and continuous improvement of accounting processes supporting the new Global Accounting operating model.
- Partner with Controlling, Consolidation, Tax, Treasury and other Finance teams to ensure alignment of financial information and reporting requirements.
- Lead accounting-related projects, process harmonization initiatives and system enhancement activities at global level.
- Monitor regulatory and accounting developments, assessing their impact on accounting processes and governance frameworks.
- Lead, coach and develop the Global Accounting team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Reporting, Audit or Finance roles within complex and international environments.
- Experience managing accounting processes,
reporting activities, and cross-functional projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced Excel and reporting tools proficiency.
- Fluency in English.
Salary Package
- Gross Annual Salary: 60.000 € (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).

- Bonuses and Commissions: Annual Target Premio as per company policies and regulations in force from time to time, up to 15% of the Gross Annual Salary.
