Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Engineer based in Rome, with flexibility for partial work from home.
The Full Stack
Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications, including front-end user interfaces and back-end services. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing features, writing clean and efficient code, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and ensuring security and reliability across the stack. The role involves collaborating with product managers, data engineers, and other developers to build data-driven and cloud-native solutions, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical architecture decisions.
The engineer will also help improve development workflows, automate testing and deployment, and support production systems as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills across modern web technologies.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development using server-side frameworks, APIs, and databases.
- Experience in Front-End Development, including JavaScript frameworks and React.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience building scalable, secure services.
- Working knowledge of automation testing tools, such as Playwright
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Ability to translate product requirements into technical solutions and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to writing maintainable code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with data-intensive or AI-related applications is a plus.
