Each day, you will drive procurement knowledge (market, suppliers, external intelligence) into the development process to optimize engineering cost, quality, and technology. You will also showcase your expertise by translating engineering requests into procurement parameters for execution. /p pThis role is contributing to the ELSB, Energy Distribution, Procurement PEM in Italy. Main stakeholders are RD and Engineering project teams, local Procurement teams, and division Procurement Category Managers. /p h3Work Model For The Role Is /h3 pIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: /p ulliManaging the ordering and on-time delivery of the prototype parts directly with the suppliers for each project, in alignment with the critical project development and testing plan. /liliBeing responsible for procurement Gate Model activities, arranging project procurement gate meetings as required, and creating and maintaining the project related to procurement documents. /liliEstimating initial cost and quality and achieving product cost and quality targets. /liliWorking to optimize cost and quality at all stages of the development projects.
/li /ul h3Qualifications For The Role /h3 ulliYou are highly skilled in procurement methodologies such as should-cost modeling, value chain analysis, and supplier development and are deeply engaged in the electrical equipment and energy distribution market. /liliYou have at least 5 years of experience in procurement within New Product Development (NPD) programs, working as a Procurement Engineer or Project Buyer with mechanical/electromechanical/electronics components and systems. /liliHighly adept in SAP, SAP Ariba, or equivalent ERP/procurement platforms, and comfortable working with PLM and project management tools. /liliYou demonstrate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management and you are innovative around problem-solving and continuous improvement. /liliDegree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering) or proven experience in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration with a strong technical background. /liliYou are at ease communicating in Italian and English (both written and spoken, required for international stakeholder interaction). /li /ul h3Compensation Package /h3 pAs part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position: /p pApplicable CBA: Metalmeccanico /p pMinimum annual salary: € 48.000,00 /p pVariable Pay: AIP target 5% + Eligible for Company Productivity Premio /p pThe offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications,
