ph3Structured Finance Associate Milan, Italy /h3 /brpWe are working with a fast-growing European Independent Power Producer (IPP) looking to appoint a bStructured Finance Associate /b to its team in Milan. The business develops, invests in, finances, owns and operates renewable energy assets across multiple European markets, with a growing portfolio across bsolar /b, bwind /b and bbattery energy storage (BESS) /b. The Structured Finance Associate will play a key role in arranging and executing financing solutions across the company's development and operational portfolio. Working closely with the investment, MA, development and finance teams, the successful candidate will have significant exposure to lenders, institutional investors, advisers and senior management. This is an attractive opportunity for someone looking to move into a bprincipal-side /b environment and take greater ownership of financing transactions across the full project lifecycle. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliSupport the structuring, execution and closing of bproject finance /b and structured finance transactions across renewable energy and BESS projects. /li /brliBuild, maintain and review detailed financial models covering debt sizing, project returns, sensitivities and financing scenarios. /li /brliEvaluate different financing structures, including: Senior project finance debt, Construction financing, Acquisition financing, HoldCo and portfolio financing, Refinancing, Bridge facilities, Corporate and structured debt solutions. /li /brliSupport negotiations with commercial banks, infrastructure debt funds and other financing institutions. /li /brliPrepare lender materials, financing presentations, information packs and internal investment papers. /li /brliManage and coordinate financing due diligence across technical, legal, tax, insurance and commercial workstreams. /li /brliReview and support the negotiation of term sheets, facility agreements and other financing documentation.
/li /brliWork closely with internal bMA /b and investment teams to assess financing assumptions for acquisitions and new investment opportunities. /li /brliSupport the financing of projects from development through construction and into operations. /li /brliAnalyse project economics, including power price assumptions, PPAs, merchant exposure, CAPEX, OPEX and debt capacity. /li /brliMonitor existing financing arrangements, covenant compliance and refinancing opportunities across the operating portfolio. /li /brliDevelop and maintain relationships with European banks, debt funds, advisers and other financing partners. /li /brliSupport senior management in developing the group's broader financing and capital structure strategy. /li /br /ul /brh3Candidate Profile /h3 /brul /brliApproximately b3–6 years' relevant experience /b within project finance, structured finance, infrastructure finance or renewable energy. /li /brliExperience gained within an bIPP /b, renewable energy developer, infrastructure investor, investment bank, commercial bank, debt fund or financial advisory business. /li /brliStrong financial modelling capabilities and confidence working with complex project finance models. /li /brliPrevious transaction experience within brenewable energy /b, power or infrastructure. /li /brliUnderstanding of project finance structures, debt sizing, DSCR, sensitivities and project-level cash flows. /li /brliExposure to financing documentation and lender due diligence processes. /li /brliStrong analytical and commercial judgement. /li /brliAbility to manage several transaction workstreams simultaneously. /li /brliStrong communication skills and confidence interacting with lenders, advisers and senior internal stakeholders. /li /brliA proactive and entrepreneurial mindset suited to a growing IPP environment. /li /brliFluent English; Italian language skills would be highly advantageous. /li /br /ul /brh3Preferred Sector Experience /h3 /brul /brliSolar PV /li /brliOnshore Wind /li /brliBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) /li /brliHybrid renewable projects /li /brliPower Energy Infrastructure /li /br /ul /brpStructured Finance Associate varese, Italy /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
