ph3Primary Function /h3 pExecute roller bench vehicle testing activities, coordinating a team in test setup, configuration, and definition of compliance requirements. Responsible for improving test efficiency, implementing testing procedures, leading the team, and ensuring quality certification. Perform performance and validation activities on the roller bench (Thermal Performance, PEMS Simulation, RDE, NEDC, WLTP cycles, etc.). /p pAnnual roller bench workload: approx. b800 tests/year /b. /p h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liCoordinate the testing team and oversee homologation and development activities in collaboration with the application team. /li liPerform critical analysis of test results and ensure proper documentation and follow‑up. /li liManage roller bench testing activities, working with internal and external customers and coordinating with other testing centers. /li liHandle high‑pressure situations with initiative and professionalism, including conducting approval tests in the presence of ministerial officials or regulatory bodies. /li liMaintain solid knowledge of current global emission regulations. /li /ul h3Job Specification /h3 pThe candidate will manage the planning, execution, and reporting of roller bench tests and act as a technical reference for the assigned personnel. He/She will drive continuous improvement of existing procedures and contribute to the development of new testing methodologies. /p h3Technical and operational requirements: /h3 ul liBasic programming skills (e.g., VBA, MATLAB) to support the development of new driving cycles and integrate measurement instrumentation with automation systems.
/li liContribution to ISO certification processes for emission testing equipment. /li liExperience with engine emission measurements using equipment compliant with EMEA, APAC, and NAFTA regulations. /li liStrong knowledge of emission measurement instrumentation, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and coordinate corrective actions. /li liAbility to analyze vehicle and subsystem test results, identify deviations, and propose improvement actions. /li liBasic understanding of electric vehicle architectures and knowledge of safety certifications required for high‑voltage system work. /li /ul h3Communication requirements: /h3 pThe role requires continuous interaction both internally and externally. /p h3Internal interfaces: /h3 ul liTest engineers /li liTechnicians and foremen /li liSafety manager (RSPP) /li liQuality manager for ISO‑TS certification /li liICT teams for HW/SW improvement activities /li /ul h3External interfaces: /h3 ul liSuppliers for maintenance contracts, facility upgrades, automation systems, and emission equipment /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul libEducation: /b Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical background, with specialization in Diesel and CNG engines. /li libCompetencies:
