Who We Are
At BKN301, we build fintech solutions that enable banks, fintechs, and merchants to grow and innovate across emerging markets.
We’re a London-based financial technology group, with offices in Milan (Italy), Doha (Qatar), and San Marino, and an international footprint that’s rapidly expanding.
We move fast, think globally, and act as one team — transforming ideas into real, scalable fintech solutions every day.
Why Join Us
Joining BKN301 means becoming part of a fast-growing international fintech, where technology and people evolve together.
Here, every idea counts: you’ll have a tangible impact on strategic projects, learn continuously, and help build something meaningful from the ground up.
You’ll join a company that values each person’s contribution, gives space to experiment, and promotes an open approach to innovation — because our success comes from the people who make it possible.
Your Role
As an Account Manager, you'll be the primary bridge between BKN301 and its existing client portfolio — combining commercial strategy, direct sales, and relationship management to drive client retention, satisfaction, and long-term revenue growth.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and act as the internal advocate for your clients across markets.
A few examples of your responsibilities
- Analyze client needs to introduce new products, higher tiers of service, or complementary solutions that drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling.
- Manage the full lifecycle of client agreements, proactively negotiating contract renewals to prevent churn and secure predictable, recurring revenue.
- Own and deliver on key financial metrics tied to your portfolio, including Net Retention Rate (NRR), total account volume,
and upselling quotas.
- Act as the internal advocate for the client, collaborating with Customer Success, Product, Technical Support, and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery and issue resolution.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and account metrics to identify emerging risks and commercial opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development within a B2B technology, fintech, payments, SaaS, or consulting environment.
- Proven experience managing existing client relationships, contract renewals, and upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Strong commercial mindset and the ability to identify business opportunities within complex client organizations.
- Good understanding of technology-driven products and the ability to quickly learn complex solutions.
- Working knowledge of APIs, digital payments, BaaS, core banking, and payment infrastructure.
- Good understanding of the payments ecosystem, including payment rails and schemes such as SEPA, SWIFT, instant payments, issuing, acquiring, and clearing flows.
- Working knowledge of key regulatory and compliance topics relevant to fintech and payments, including KYC, AML, and PCI-DSS.
- Ability to engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders, including Product, Technology, Finance, and Compliance teams.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of an additional language besides English is a plus.
Soft Skills That Make a Difference
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and navigate contract or pricing discussions to reach win-win outcomes
- Commercial acumen and ability to identify business opportunities within a client's organizational structure
- Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to handle multiple high-value accounts simultaneously
- Empathy and active listening, to anticipate client needs and prevent churn before it happens
- Proactivity, problem-solving attitude and sense of ownership
- Adaptability and curiosity in a fast-evolving international environment
What We Offer
- Permanent, full-time contract with a salary range of €40.000 – €45.000 RAL, based on experience and skills.
- Work location: Dogana, San Marino.
- Employment governed by the CCNL - Settore Servizi.
- Dynamic and international environment, built on trust, collaboration, and ownership.
- Real impact on global fintech transformation projects.
- Continuous growth and learning opportunities within a fast-evolving and innovative group.
