You may know Epson as a printer and projector manufacturer, but did you know we are also home to Orient Watches? Orient is a 75 year old Japanese precision watch maker and has been part of the Epson family since 2017. Due to planned growth we are looking for an additional Account Manager to build our presence further throughout Europe.
As the European Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of European distributors for Orient Watches, ensuring revenue growth, improved market penetration, and stronger execution at retail level.
Responsibilities include evaluating distributor performance, supporting partner-led sales strategies, managing channel marketing investment, developing plans to improve or replace underperforming partners, and contributing to the long-term transition toward more direct retail engagement.
The position can be based from the UK, Italy or Spain and will involve regular international travel.
Develop and implement the business sales plan for designated customer / reseller base to generate business growth and maximise sales of relevant products.
For the specific market, understand the addressable market size and potential and use the information to support distributors and develop the existing business portfolio.
Research, identify and engage potential distributors in new European territories.
In conjunction with Business Management, define and develop the go to market plan.
Qualify all prospects using agreed metrics, develop the profile of the distributors and their marketing plans.
Produce account plans for each key customer which detail:
Key criteria (budget, data, stakeholder analysis)
Value proposition and technical benefits identified
Ensure effective execution of the marketing strategy through distributors.
Communication:
Develop long term relationships with distributors and external key influencers.
Actively engage with Sales Support and functional teams (e.g. Marketing) to maximise service and cus
