About The Role
The primary function for the Machining Operator is to operate NC machine tools.
You will report to Metal Works Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the machine tools;
- Operate small/medium/heavy NC machine tools (milling machine, vertical lathe, drilling machine) to obtain the designed geometries according to drawings and project requirements;
- Align and secure the part using clamping devices, determine the workpiece zero points, check the tool pre-setting, and ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances;
- Keep track of the operations work time;
- Read technical drawings, ISO and ASME tolerances;
- Move parts or furnace components into position, manually or with hoists or cranes;
- Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).
Qualifications:
- Professional or Technical school diploma;
- Previous experience in NC machine tools (min. 2 years);
- Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am;
- Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base annual salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be €29.100 to €37.000.
